LOVE them!!

Went through two pregnancies with the midwives at AWC (one miscarriage, and one complete pregnancy with a happy, healthy baby at the end). They were a little tough on me about my weight gain, but perhaps I was overly sensitive?

Weekend of my miscarriage (first experience with them), the on-call midwife CALLED ME three times to check in and see how I was doing and if there was anything that I needed or had questions about. That was above and beyond the call of duty, if you ask me.

I liked them all during my next pregnancy, felt comfortable with them in terms of their willingness to answer questions and in their expertise. I couldn't have asked for a better delivery (with Barb LaBrie).

Would recommend them to anyone!! Good luck!!

I used them for my first pregnancy, but picked the doctors then. I ended up having an emergency c-section, which really bummed me out. I'm pregnant with our second and this time I'm going with the midwives -- I feel like midwives will choose c-section as a last resort. They are all absolutely behind my choice to deliver vaginally after a c-section and each time I've gone in for my regular monthly appointments, all the midwives are happy to answer as many questions as I have. Don't get me wrong -- the doctors are also very nice and helpful, but I wanted to try and do this pregnancy as naturally as possible.

Barbara LaBrie also delivered my baby. Wonderful. Great experience with all the midwives.

I love all the midwives-barbara labrie delivered my baby and she is amazing!
