Riding Lessons--any farm recs?
  
 

I am looking to switch farms for my child. She has been riding for about 6 months. Does anyone have any recommendations for a very kid friendly farm?

BowBrickhill Stables in Milford is a nice farm with a good lesson program

I TAKE MY GIRLS TO BOWBRICKHILL FARMS AND COULDN'T BE MORE HAPPY!!!THEY HAVE A GREAT FAMILY ATMOSPHERE WHILE REMAINING TOTALLY PROFESSIONAL. YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED. THE FARM IS OWNED BY A YOUNG FAMILY WITH SMALL CHILDREN AND SEVERAL WELL BEHAVED DOGS RUNNING AROUND. MY GIRLS TAKE LESSONS WITH LAURA....AWESOME!!! MY ONE DAUGHTER WAS BORN WITH HORSE IN HER BLOOD AND NO FEAR OF THEM WHILE MY OTHER DAUGHTER WAS MUCH MORE TIMID. LAURA HAD MY TIMID ONE GO FROM BEING AFRAID TO PET THE HORSES TO TROTING IN AND BEGGING FOR MORE IN LESS THEN 6 MONTHES. I HAVE BEEN TO SEVERAL FARMS ....YOU WONT BE DISSAPOINTED. Hello

My name is Grace Golden and I just purchased a farm in Broadway NJ.  We moved from MA where we had a fairly large lesson program for children.  We are beginning to develop a lesson program currentyl in Broadway and have openings for new students.  We have several very safe well trained school horses and over 20 years experience working with kids.  I am a parent of two boys and understand the quality that parents expect to recieve.  We believe in teaching by "sneaking the veggies into the meatloaf" :) Kids learn best when they are having fun.  Our students progress in a fun and respectful environment.  Please call with questions.  You can call me personally on my cell phone at 413-205-9050.  Thank you.

I Recommend Northern High Farm! My daughter switch to their barn and we love it! Very children and family friendly!
