The Red Mill Museum in Clinton, NJ is in need of Volunteers at the Red Mill to keep the museum and our programs open to the public 6 days a week.  Work can be done in many areas, from maintenance of our grounds and gardens, care of our historic buildings and collections, or help with special events and day to day administrative duties.

Right now we do have an immediate need.  Our museum hosts its big annual Haunted Fundraiser through October.  We used to have a Volunteer group come and strike the sets of the Haunted Mill, but this group has disbanded.  We need up to  20 people to come out on Sunday October 30 for a day of breakdown.  We are looking for people with some skill who can use a power drill, and who do not mind lifting and moving objects.  However not everyone needs to be able to use  a power drill.  There is fabric to be taken down and folded. Props to be boxed up.  This is an all day project.  Everything has to be packed up to open the school the following for school groups coming to see the Museum.  We have a school group every day until Thanksgiving.    We will take anyone willing to help even if it is only for a 2 to 3 hour shift.  If your interested contact director@theredmill.org
