looking to form friendships for 16 year old boy with some mild learning disability issues

my 16 year old son attends a small high school where forming friendships are limited for him... he has no local friends. i am looking for other kids of similar age who might be looking to form a friendship....he likes going to the gym, playing basketball, movies, skatepark and would love to just begin to have some friendships doing normal teen stuff.

South Ridge Community Church in Clinton behind Walmart has a great Sr. High program on Sunday nights at 6:30. It is a safe, fun place for older teens to "hang out" chaperoned by adults.

My son is 21 years, just moving to the area. He is cognitively impaired and functions mid range. he is good at basketball, and loves music. We are in the clinton area. His name is Tyler.
