Art Classes for Ages 3-16
Hands-on art classes with teaching artist, Kimberly Cheifer, in a safe environment at her home studio, Art Journey Studio, where students unique learning styles are nurtured.  Most classes are once a week with all supplies included. Small classes are limited to ten students or less.
Fun, educational, and affordable with required pre-registration to reserve space.

Classes explore drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media, including fun art materials like pastel, clay, fabric, plaster, watercolor pencils, and more. Classes are mostly inspired by nature, imagination, master artist styles, multi-cultural art. Examples of classes are: Starting Artists for ages 4-6, Mommy and Me Make Art for ages 3-5, Art Explorers for ages 7-11, Helping Hands (Special Needs Art Classes) for ages 7-15, and Sketchers and Painters for ages 9-16.

Certified NJ art teacher, Kimberly W. Cheifer, has been a professional artist for over 25 years, and has taught art to K-12 students for 6 years. Currently she teaches grade 1-5 art curriculum and preschool art at Montessori schools. She also: offers classes and art camps at Hunterdon Art Museum; substitutes for art and special needs classes in Readington and Hillsborough public school districts; and has taught art at Hunterdon Central High School. Her art is sold internationally as originals, prints, and cards, with a 3-year exhibition tour at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. Kimberly is available for home school groups and art parties. References and resume are available upon request.
